Clean Narmada, Clean Ganga, Clean Bharat

Himanshu Kumar, an employee of GFC Jabalpur, undertook a journey from Jabalpur to Kolkata on 26th January 2018, covering a distance of 1200 km, in support of the Clean Narmada, Clean Ganga, Clean Bharat campaign.

On 26th January 2020, a remarkable feat was accomplished by Himanshu Kumar and Harsh Pandit, a dedicated father-son duo from Jabalpur. Covering a distance of 900 km over 18 days, they undertook an incredible marathon journey from Jabalpur to New Delhi.

Their achievement was recognized and honored by the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records in 2021. Furthermore, their names have been recommended for inclusion in the Guinness Book of World Records.

This inspiring journey symbolizes endurance, family bond, and unwavering determination.

In January 2023, a monumental feat was accomplished — the 1st solo marathon of 6000 km on the Golden Quadrilateral Highway, starting from Delhi to Mumbai to Chennai!

2.0 – Nationwide Marathon Execution

SPORTS UTSAV is organizing a historic marathon event to select male and female runners from all 28 states of India. One male and one female athlete from each state (a total of 56 participants) will take part in this grand race.

The goal of this marathon is to secure recognition in the India Book of Records, Asia Book of Records, International Book of Records, and Guinness World Records. All selected participants will receive official certification free of cost.

This 4,000 km marathon will commence on November 11, 2027, starting from Lal Chowk, Jammu & Kashmir, to Vivekananda Memorial, Kanyakumari. The entire event will be conducted under the supervision of the Athletic Federation of India (AFI) and supported by the Mila Shree Sports Club Federation.

3.0 – Launch of ‘Olympian Nursery of India’ (2027 Onwards)

After all the selected athletes from every state receive their ABR, IBR, and GBR certifications, SPORTS UTSAV and URMILA SHREE SPORTS CLUB FEDERATION will jointly take a major initiative in 2028.

This initiative will establish the Olympian Nursery of India (ONI) with the goal of promoting sports awareness among children aged 15 and below. As part of this effort, a sports school named “ONI” will be launched in Madhya Pradesh, where students will receive both sports training and academic education—completely free of cost.

This school will prioritize sports excellence while ensuring quality education.
